Enjeti earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) from George Washington University between 2010 and 2014. In 2015, he received an Executive Certificate in Counter-Terrorism studies. He then earned his Master’s degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University. 

After college, Saagar worked as a Legislative intern for the United States Congress for 11 months before leaving in June 2011. After leaving the US Congress, he worked as a community developer for the Mirror Foundation in Thailand. He worked for the foundation for three months before returning to the United States of America to work as a researcher for the Institute for the Study of War. Saagar was named foreign affairs and Pentagon correspondent in 2016 and White House correspondent in December 2017.

While pursuing his master’s degree, he began working for The Daily Caller in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area in December 2017. He has worked there for three years. In 2019, he began working as a Media Fellow on The Realignment Podcast at The Hudson Institute for nine months.
