On January 12, 2023, around 10:30 a.m., Presley went into cardiac arrest at his home in Calabasas, California. Her heart was restarted after CPR was administered in route to a Los Angeles hospital, but she died later that day at West Hills Hospital at 54.

Her last public appearance was at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, which she attended with her mother two days prior. Hundreds of people attended Presley’s public memorial service at Graceland on January 22, 2023. More than 144,000 people were said to have watched the service live on the internet.
