Gina Lollobrigida passed away in Rome on January 16, 2023, at the age of 95. Gina had deteriorated in health before she passed away. The reason of death is unidentified. The 95-year-old underwent surgery in September to fix a thigh bone that was damaged in a fall. Before her death, she was hospitalized once again after saying she had rapidly begun walking when she got home. According to Italian media, Gina spent some time in the hospital before she passed away in Rome.
