The couple split up in 1966 and the breakup reason is unknown.

After the divorce with Connie, Stacy married Kim Darby in 1968. After a year, they blessed with a child together . James died on September 9, 2016 in Ventura, California, USA.

She began her career at the age of 19. Her first notable film was with Mark Damon ‘Young and Dangerous

’ released in 1957. It is a low budget teen movie.

Stevens’ big break came when Jerry Lewis recommended a movie named Rock-A-Bye Baby in 1958. In the same year Stevens made another film named The Party Crashers at Paramount but the Paramount dropped her.

In 1960s she starred in three films like Troy Donahue:Parrish, Susan Slade and Palm Springs Weekend. 

Her first album was titled Concetta in 1958. She appeared opposite James Garner in a comedy episode of the TV western series Maverick. The gorgeous lady hit singles as a solo artist with “Sixteen Reasons”(1960) . Her other single releases were “Apollo”, “Why’d You Wanna Me Cry”, “Something Beautiful”, “Mr Songwriter”, “Now That You’ve Gone” etc.
