In teen, Stacy was first inspired to play professional football but later settled on a career in the movies after one of his friends motivated him into taking some acting classes. The couple split up in 1966 and the breakup reason is unknown.

After the divorce with Connie, Stacy married Kim Darby in 1968. After a year, they blessed with a child together . James died on September 9, 2016 in Ventura, California, USA.

 After the divorced with James Stacy, Connie married to Eddie Fisher in 1967. He was a singer and actor by profession. The couple have 2 daughters together named Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher. The pair divorced in 1969 due to some misunderstanding between them. Interesting fact is that Connie was the third wife of Eddie. He took his last breath on September 22, 2010(aged 82).

She began her career at the age of 19. Her first notable film was with Mark Damon ‘Young and Dangerous’ released in 1957. It is a low budget teen movie.

Stevens’ big break came when Jerry Lewis recommended a movie named Rock-A-Bye Baby in 1958. In the same year Stevens made another film named The Party Crashers at Paramount but the Paramount dropped her.

In 1960s she starred in three films like Troy Donahue:Parrish, Susan Slade and Palm Springs Weekend. 

Her first album was titled Concetta in 1958. She appeared opposite James Garner in a comedy episode of the TV western series Maverick. The gorgeous lady hit singles as a solo artist with “Sixteen Reasons”(1960) . Her other single releases were “Apollo”, “Why’d You Wanna Me Cry”, “Something Beautiful”, “Mr Songwriter”, “Now That You’ve Gone” etc.
