As a wife, she was there beside Christopher Luxon, as he headed to the stage to claim his victory as New Zealand’s 42nd prime minister in the 2023 election. Well, Christopher was already known as CEO of Air New Zealand. And became more famous after he launched his career in politics.

Amanda and Chris met when she was 16 and he was 15 at his parents’ house for a youth group dinner they were hosting. They were in their early 20’s when they tied the knot. 

The couple married in the year 1992 where Christopher was at 22 and Amanda was 23 years old. And at the current time, their children are in their 20’s.  They are blessed with two kids; a daughter and a son. Daughter Olivia Luxon studied Sociology and Criminology. Whereas, their son William who is studying Commerce. 

She previously addressed a crowd of hundreds at a National Party conference, and, on Saturday, the nation, when asked about her husband’s victory.
