In 2017’s “The Fate of the Furious,” he and his mother were kidnapped as infants and used to blackmail Dom by Cipher (Charlize Theron). Though Elena eventually kills him, he is rescued by Deckard (Jason Statham) and Owen Shaw (Luke Evans), and Dom names him Brian O’Conner after his late friend (Paul Walker). In 2021’s “F9,” viewers see him living at the farmhouse with Dom and stepmom Letty (Michelle Rodriguez).
