College Career

Sudfeld started for the Hoosiers as a true freshman, filling in for Cameron Coffman after starter Tre Roberson fractured his leg.  After sparking a fourth-quarter comeback against Ball State, he was named Big Ten co-Freshman of the Week. He split time with Tre Roberson as a sophomore, getting his first start against Bowling Green. He had 2,523 yards, 21 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, and a 142.0 pass efficiency rating at the end of the season.

Sudfeld attended the Manning Passing Academy at Nicholls State University prior to his senior year in 2015. During his senior season, he threw for 3,573 yards and 27 touchdowns.

The Washington Redskins selected Sudfeld with the 187th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
