Before becoming the head coach of the Tunisian national team at the end of January 2022, Kadri came a long way in enhancing his managing career managing various clubs, starting with his hometown clubs and helping several clubs to reach league promotion. In 2011, he moved to Saudi Arabia to take over Damac FC and Al-Ansar FC. 

He then became the head coach of the Al-Nahda club in 2012 and guided the team to the Zain Saudi Professional League promotion. He left the club to join Tunisia as an assistant coach to Nabil Maaloul during the World Cup and the African Cup of Nations qualification stage before he returned to the club but could not save the club from relegation, after which he moved to Al-Khaleej Club and led the team to finish at the 8th place along with that created the history leading the team to the Cup semi-final for the first time.
