She was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, on February 12, 1988, according to AJ Odudu wiki. She is currently a 33-year-old lovely lady. Florence and James Odudu, both Nigerians, gave birth to AJ. Her mother worked as a school cleaner, and her father worked as a bus operator. Odudu started her own blog on Hello magazine’s UK website in August 2013. Odudu co-hosted the 4Music show Trending Live! alongside Jimmy Hill and Vick Hope in 2017.

In March and April 2019, she hosted the online Facebook quiz game “Confetti” on a regular basis.

She was a contestant on the nineteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing from September 2021, paired with professional dancer Kai Widdrington. The duo topped the leaderboard in their first week with a score of 34 for their jive to DJ Fresh’s Gold Dust. “Without a question, the best dance of the evening,” said judge Motsi Mabuse of the routine. With a score of 39 for their Charleston to “Don’t Bring Lulu,” they topped the leaderboard once more in week 7.

After a terrible ankle injury that left her on crutches and unable to dance, AJ has been ruled out of the series final.

On December 17, 2021, she announced her withdrawal from the competition after being pictured stumbling to her final rehearsal.

She said: “I’m deeply upset that I am unable to perform in the final due to a torn ligament in my right ankle. Learning to dance over the last 13 weeks has been an incredible honour and to do it alongside someone as special, patient and devoted as Kai [Widdrington] is something I’ll treasure forever.”
