Jackson sues the film’s manufacturers after suffering a “horrifying on-set accident,” her lawsuit lodged in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County notes. After a stunt went incorrect, it was necessary to amputate the left arm of Jackson.
The South African High Court held that Bickers Action, SA, the company responsible for the camera and filming trucks, had negligently planned and conducted a stunt, which saw Jackson drive a motorbike at high speed.
“I miss my old face. I miss my old body. and I miss my old life. At least I now finally have a court judgment that proves this stunt was badly planned and that it was not my fault,” said Jackson on the court.
