Maura Healey, the Democratic attorney general of Massachusetts, was chosen as governor, becoming the first openly gay and female candidate to hold the position in the history of the state. Geoff Diehl, a former state representative and Republican, lost to Healey despite receiving Trump’s support. After eight years of Republican leadership under the well-liked governor Charlie Baker, who opted not to run for re-election, her victory handed the governor’s office back to Democrats.

The current Attorney General of Massachusetts Healey is an openly gay/Lesbian. She is in a long-term relationship with Gabrielle Wolohojian.  Maura Healey wife Gabrielle Wolohojian is a member of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the state of Massachusetts’ intermediate appellate court. Governor Deval Patrick appointed her to this position, which she assumed on February 7, 2008.

She was born on December 16, 1960 and currently is a 61 years old beautiful lady. Wolohojian, the granddaughter of Armenian immigrants, earned her degree in English from Rutgers University in 1982. In 1987, she graduated with a doctorate in English language and literature from Oxford University.

She earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1989, where she also worked as the Columbia Law Review’s editor. She interned for Bailey Aldrich, a Massachusetts-born judge who served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and Rya Zobel, a judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, after completing law school. She then started working in private practice, joining the company that would later become WilmerHale, and was later made a partner there.

Deval Patrick, the governor of Massachusetts, nominated Wolohojian for the appeals court on November 14, 2007, to take Associate Justice Kenneth Laurence’s place after his retirement. On February 7, 2008, she took the oath of office after being confirmed by the Governor’s Council.

She was born on February 8, 1971, in Bethesda, Maryland, in the United States. He is currently a 51-year-old lovely lady. Her parents were both raised in Newburyport. Maura grew up in an old farm house in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, as the oldest of five siblings. Tracy, her mother, worked as a nurse at the local elementary school and was very involved in the community (and still is!). Edward, Maura’s stepfather, joined the family when she was in high school.

Maura grew up running through the woods, stealing apples (mostly drops) from the local orchard, playing sports, coaching, working as a camp counselor, and waitressing at the Hampton Beach Casino. Maura attended Harvard College, where she captained the basketball team, and then played for a professional basketball team in Austria for two years as a 5’4″ starting point guard. She went to Northeastern University School of Law because she wanted to help people and was committed to public service.
