Valentine was a Traveler who was inspired to become a drag performer by the “fabulous” women in his family. He stated that “there’s a lot of pressure on young people in the Traveler community to marry, settle down, have a family, and get a job to support the family,” and that when he grew up, he did not believe that being a drag performer would be a viable career.
Valentine began her career as a drag queen in 2018. She became a mental health nurse in the NHS in 2015 and assisted with the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in the UK. Valentine was announced as one of twelve contestants for the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in December 2020.
